Selling art

Journal Entry: Tue Oct 24, 2006, 9:36 AM
How do you price creativity and emotion. Thats the hardest part how much is too much. I put alot of detail in my work. No they dont have faces and I dont put the detail in the hands or feet but i put the detail other places. and that take time and effort. Each one is a labor of love. But a girl has to eat and needs money to make more labors of loves. Its art so it can sell for what ever i want i guess. but i feel funny pricing it. These next two pieces on the work table have the most beautiful elaborate bases I have made yet.
I don want under price myself but I don't our priced myself either. I hate this part.

Frustrated artist

So sucks not having a digtal camera. I have gone on a art binge and want to share but have to rely on the kindness of friends to take pics so i can put up and share. The art is taking over firgures everywhere. I'm going to have to start finding homes for them. A few with become gifts and a few will live with me. Besides the room I could use the moeny i would love to have a proper art opening even if it was just one night show. that would just rock.
Of course then lazy artist here would have to come up with artist statement oh well. hopefull the next time post it will be because i have art to share.

Artist Statement?

Journal Entry: Thu Aug 10, 2006, 8:20 AM
I am a lazy Artist. The reason I make art is so I can say what I want without saying a word. Well thats not the only reason. I would die if i could not express myself this way. My work is mostly a reflection of myself and my thoughts and dreams. It is interesting to see what people see in the work without me explaining it. I have had a least one vision of my work whihc is totaly different from what was feeling when i created the piece. Do i have the right to change that persons view of my work?
